What goods or services do you provide? Fresh Tracks provides safe, reliable shuttle service between Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and the Silverthorne Factory Outlets. Fresh Tracks also provides shuttles for weddings and large events.
What's new or exciting at your place? This is Fresh Tracks' first winter providing service from Summit County to the Eagle County Airport.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Reliability and pricing. Fresh Tracks' competitive pricing makes us the most affordable means of transportation in all of Summit and Eagle Counties. Our reservation staff and drivers have the highest-level of customer service in the mountains. Our priority is to get our guests to their destinations in a safe and timely manor.
What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Guest service is our number-one priority. From the get-go, our philosophy has always been about the guest experience. It starts with extensive driver training to ensure the safety of our guests, to ensuring that our drivers have extensive knowledge of the area so they can provide information to visitors about everything from restaurants and ski shops to recommendations of where to ski at each resort.
Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: After finishing college, Peter in Massachusetts and Jillian in Colorado, we both moved to Summit County and were expecting to spend “just one winter” in the mountains. We worked as concierges at a hotel in Breckenridge and saw the need for a door-to-door ski shuttle company in the mountains.
The following winter, we decided that we would start running this service. The first day we opened we sold out. As the years went on, we expanded to different areas as we realized the need was greater than we had originally anticipated. We started with one 15-passenger van traveling between Breckenridge and Keystone and now we have four vans servicing all of Summit and Eagle Counties.
What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? It is amazing what people will tell you about their lives during a car ride. We have heard some fascinating and interesting stories from people!
