The Beaver Creek Snowshoe Adventure Series wraps up Sunday with the Jeremy Wright North American Snowshoe Championships. Sunday's event includes the East West 5K Quest, a competitive 10K and a kids 1K, plus slopeside sponsor expos and a post-event plaza party with complimentary lunch provided by the Dusty Boot. Love your neighbor

Everyday Outfitters in Eagle is hosting a benefit for longtime local Dan Moore today from 4 to 8 p.m. Dan Moore, 52, is a 33-year local resident who recently suffered a stroke. He is undergoing extended rehabilitation in Denver. Unfortunately, he does not have health insurance and needs financial assistance.

The event will include live music featuring Hardscrabble, great deals, nail painting and refreshments. Everyday Outfitters will donate 10 percent of profits during the event to

Dan and also will collect cash donations.

Charlie Fickle memorial

There will be a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church in Edwards for beloved Charlie Fickle.
