EDWARDS, Colorado — Alpine Arts Center is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month by inviting the community to participate in free activities at Alpine Arts Center all week long. Projects will include collaborative canvas paintings and paint-your-own-pottery tiles that are appropriate for all ages, child through adult. Participants will not only enjoy a creative art project for free, but they will also receive a 15 percent off coupon good for spring session classes.
“Our goal is to thank new and returning customers for making our first year in business a success, and also to give everyone a chance to get involved creatively at Alpine Arts Center,” says Lauren Merrill, owner of Alpine Arts Center. “You don't have to consider yourself a talented artist to have fun creating art, and we encourage everyone to invite friends and family to join in for a social and enjoyable afternoon or evening.” Alpine Arts Center will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for drop-ins.
Alpine Arts Center also invites the public to a joint gallery reception and anniversary celebration on March 18 starting at 5 p.m. where the collaborative pieces will be unveiled and the current gallery exhibit “Mindful Artistry” by Wendy Satsky will be on display. For details on this event, and Alpine Arts Center's upcoming class and event schedule, visit www.alpineartscenter.org or call at 970-926-2732.
