Theater auditions today

The Vail Valley Theatre Company will be holding auditions today and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Battle Mountain High School Auditorium for two amazing musicals!

“The Rocky Horror Show” will be reprising last year's surprise hit, so if you missed getting out your fishnets and corset last year, this is your chance to audition for the show! No roles have been precast, so this is your opportunity to become Janet, Magenta or even Frank'n'Furter himself! Rehearsals will start in mid-September, with performances around Halloween.

“The Great American Trailer Park Musical” is a hysterical look at life in a trailer park, plus road kill, agoraphobia, adultery and more! If you want to perform but are leery of the camp that is “Rocky Horror,” this is the show for you. This cast is composed of five women and two men, all fun, crazy characters! Rehearsals will start in July, with performances at the Vilar Center at the beginning of September.

The Vail Valley Theatre Company is a not-for-profit community theater company offering performance opportunities to members of the Vail Valley. Come on down and meet some amazing people, increase your self-confidence and kick some booty!
