Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite Saturday when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and more than 40 local children present “The Tortoise Versus The Hare.”

“The Tortoise Versus The Hare” will be presented at 1 and 3:30 p.m. at Little Beach Park and Amphitheater in Minturn. The show is free.

Playing the title characters, Coach Shelley Bowlback and Curly Hare, are locals Brooke Bellm and Sara Sullivan. Other featured characters include Caity Regrut as Esther Bunny, Frances Farrell as Little Bonnie Bunny and the Weasel played by Kourtney Newman. The Ferrets will be played by Burke Fancher, Zachary Holter, Jack Sullivan; the Reptiles by Katie Campbell, Senna Stark, Kyra Correa, Amalia Manning, Grace Dammen, Savina May, Mary Fancher, Kendra Newman, Patricia Solis; and Isabella Miscio, Maddy Regrut, Axelina Manning will make up the thespian troupe. Appearing as Curly's Posse will be Andrew Macaulay, Ian Cecil-Hoerl, Zachary Cecil-Hoerl, Zander Miscio, the TV Crew will be Jessica Sullivan, Emi Moore, Kingston Lindner with Sedona Trygg and Camille Olson playing the Stagehands. The Curly Hare Fan Club will be played by Marlez Blonairz, Molly Malone, Harper Friel, Seamus Farrell, Aiden Manning, Marley Lindner, Elizabeth Matsen, Kaya Bradley, Ashley Matsen, Zoe Harrison, Morgan Friel, Sophie Macaulay, Madeline Grab, and Landis Pietrzak. MCT tour actor, Kat Key, will play the supporting roles of Osgood and Buddy Courts. The MCT Tour Director is Kristin Conrad.
