A Boulder County jury resumed its deliberations this morning in the murder trial of Kevin McGregor.
The jury is not under sequestration, but Boulder District Judge D.D. Mallard told the jurors that their breaks would be in a "controlled environment" because there is a lot of interest in the case and a lot of discussion in the hallways of the Boulder County Justice Center.
Mallard said she didn't want jurors to inadvertently be exposed to outside information on the case.
McGregor, 23, of Longmont, is charged with first-degree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery in the shooting death of Todd Walker, 20, a native of the mountain town of Edwards and a University of New Hampshire football player.
