EDWARDS — Manic Training, based in Edwards, just debuted a circuit-based workout program in the heart of the Vail Valley. Manic envelops training aspects of high intensity methods with functional movements of today's athletes.
Manic Training is the perfect workout for those bored with the corporate gym culture or those who want some cardio and strength training to supplement their yoga. Manic programs use full body workouts and compound movements utilizing free weights, medicine balls, sandbags, kettle bells, spin bikes, rowers and many body weight exercises. The sessions are set up to provide intense and challenging workouts to all fitness levels, even beginners.
Endurance athlete, Andy Picking, set up this Vail Valley location after seeing the amazing success of circuit training at his Manic location in Steamboat Springs. He is a great motivator and keeps clients coming back three times a week. Manic Training is the right choice for people looking to condition a little more before the late season snow hits, new moms looking to lose the baby weight, brides who want to get in shape before summer, and everyone looking to tone up and shed a few pounds.
Manic offers classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 a.m., 7:05 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 4:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. The first week is complimentary, so give this new way of exercising a try. Manic is located in the Northstar Center in Edwards, behind Cafe Milano and next to Lakota Guides.
