"Life's not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away" - George Strait
Eleanor Butters' life was filled with countless breath-taking moments. She married her childhood sweetheart, James Anthony Butters on Feb. 27, 1945. During their 52 wonderful years together, they had five children, Sharon Wheeler (Glen), Craig Butters (Brunilda), Joe Butters, Jerry Butters (Ruth) and Jock Butters. They blessed her with 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her faith in God gave her strength. She provided an amazing moral compass for us all to follow. She taught us kindness and compassion. She touched the hearts and lives of all those who knew her and shined forth an inconceivable amount of love to all those around her.
Eleanor drew her last breaths, at home in bed, surrounded by her family. While the pain of losing her has made it hard for us to breathe, we all know how truly blessed we are for having been a part of her life and loved by her.
She will be missed.
