Amy Jean Stewart, 32, of Huntingdon, Tenn., went to heaven, March 6, 2012. She passed away quietly in her sleep.
She was born in Wausau, Wis., April 28, 1979, to Karen Stewart and Claude Stewart. The family moved to Gypsum in 1980 where Amy and her brothers attended Eagle County Schools.
On July 26, 1994, Amy's son Anthony was born and on June 8, 1998, her son Corey Leavitt was born. She resided in Huntingdon, where she became a Home Caregiver.
She is survived by sons Anthony Stewart of Gypsum; Corey Leavitt of Huntingdon; parents Karen Stewart (Wayne) of Gypsum and Claude Stewart (Denise) of Grand Junction; grandmother Barbara Stewart of Grand Junction; brothers Bob Stewart (Melissa) of Loma and Nick Stewart (Malissa) of Gypsum; nieces Jacyne Bowers, Alyssa Stewart, Ashleigh and Alex Stewart; nephews Wyatt Bowers, Ryan Alderman, Bryan Stewart; cousin Isabella Orr; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is predeceased by her great-grandfather, Claude L. Stewart, and her uncle, Verain L Stewart.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. March 17 at First Baptist Church in Gypsum.
