You can ask many questions about the current proposal of Eagle River Station but I'd rather you just ask two questions.-
First, if the leaders who voted for Eagle River Station have such extensive history and experience in leading Eagle, why are we (per them) facing such a desperate financial situation? Wouldn't it have been them that put us in the situation?
Second, if RED Development cares so much about Eagle, why are they threatening to take our biggest revenue source to Gypsum?
It does not seem to me, that we should commit to this developer for the next 17-21 years when RED is already using scare tactics and threatening us. And it does not seem that we should rely on those who have said they led our community for a combined 44 years right into a financial crisis (again per them).
Give our new Mayor Yuri Kostick a chance to lead us without Eagle River Station on the table.- Keep it real and vote no (again) on May 22.
