The Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability invites the community to attend the third annual Reconstruction Recycled Art Show reception on Tuesday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Alpine Arts Center in Edwards. Local artists have used recycled materials to create a diverse range of artwork. The show will continue at the Alpine Arts Center in Edwards through the end of May.
The free reception will include appetizers from The Bookworm and beverages from Crazy Mountain Brewing Company. Most of the artwork will be available for sale via silent-auction bidding, and first, second and third place winners will be awarded based on a Viewer's Choice public vote. The original concept for the Reconstruction show was inspired by one of the goals of the Eagle Valley Alliance itself: keeping usable materials out of the waste stream.
