EAGLE COUNTY - Eagle Valley Humane Society donors are offering an additional $4,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest stemming from a recent animal cruelty case.
On March 26, an Animal Protection Agent for the Eagle Valley Humane Society contacted the Eagle County Sheriff's Office. The agent received information regarding a deceased puppy that appeared to be the victim of animal cruelty.
The puppy was found on Forest Service Road 8380, in the Spring Creek area in unincorporated Eagle County, south of the Eagle County Regional Airport in Gypsum. The puppy was approximately 3 to 6 months old at the time of death.
