I applaud Mr. David Le Vine's concise and rational letter published June 24. If only Buddy Shipley, Bob Branden and Dick Gustafson could learn to put their own thoughts down rationally, see what is really happening in the world and stop repeating the hatred of Fox News, then we could have some good dialogue.

Having registered as an independent voter since the beginning of Bush's wars, I also will vote for President Obama's re-election.
