Vail Valley: Beaver Creek hosts 'Halloween in July' Thursday

Beaver Creek is hosting "Halloween in July" Thursday.

"Halloween is just too much fun to do once a year," said Brian Hall with the Beaver Creek Children's Theatre.

Kids can break out their Halloween costumes and celebrate Halloween," Hall said.

A special mask-making workshop starts at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Beaver Creek Children's Museum. Or you can bring your own, Hall said.

A costume parade is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., followed by a special Halloween-themed show by the Beaver Creek Children's Theatre Company. It's part of the troupe's 26th year of performances, Hall said.

There will be a special Halloween cake created by the Rimini Gelato and Chocolate Shop in Beaver Creek for the first 100 costumed kids.
