"Neopolitan Prairie Table" by Scott Burgess.
This table, crafted by woodworker Scott Burgess, is made from wenge, purpleheart and white oak woods and stained glass. "The color of these woods is natural to the species, no paint, stain, or dye was used. Wenge is a chocolate wood with streaks of black and purpleheart really is purple. My wife, Stephanie, created the stained glass, which spills colorful light across the floor and is a wonderful resolution for the negative space under the drawer."
Burgess is one of 10 artists taking part in the upcoming Red Cliff Studio Tour, set for Aug. 18th and 19th in Red Cliff.
