Studio Anjali at the Westin hosts four-part yoga series

AVON - Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront in Avon will host a four-part yoga rejuvenation series taught by Tara Goike and Suzanne Oliver on four Sundays this September and October.

The schedule for the rejuvenation series includes:

Sunday: Cleanse and Detox - During this class, attendees will move through deep twists, cleansing and detoxifying from the core, regaining suppressed vital energy.

Sept. 23: Anjali Restorative - A relaxing style of yoga that promotes mental and physical healing. Through a spinal sequence, attendees will reach a state of intentional rest that is peaceful and nurturing, leaving you rejuvenated and grounded.

Oct. 14: Revitalize Your Heart - This practice will focus on learning the safe, secure way to practice back-bending postures without compromising your lower back.

Oct. 21: Bhava Vinyasa - Connecting breath with movements, attendees will warm up their body in a soothing and mellow way, ending class with meditative and restorative postures. This class is meant to de-stress and renew your mind and body.

The classes will be held on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. Each class is $25 for Athletic Club at The Westin members, $35 for non-members.

Oliver is the yoga coordinator at Studio Anjali. She has been teaching in the Vail Valley for more than 10 years and has held licenses in the Anusara method of hatha yoga.
