A puddle of melted snow from Wednesday's snow storm reflects snow guns blasting man-made snow on top of the acculuated snow Thursday on Golden Peak in Vail. Vail Resorts reported 5 inches of new snow on Vail Mountain from the storm, allowing them to recommence their snow-making efforts on Golden Peak.
