EAGLE-VAIL - Eagle County Schools invites the public to an enchanting performance of Beauty and the Beast by third, fourth and fifth graders in the Homestake Peak drama club. This is a one-night only opportunity to experience the magic of this much beloved tale where love and understanding conquer the fear of the unknown and misunderstood.
Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" was originally directed by Robert Jess Roth based on a book by Linda Woolverton.
Cherished for its memorable songs, the film was dedicated to Howard Ashman, the songwriter, who died before the film's completion. The dedication following the film credits reads: "To our friend Howard, who gave a mermaid her voice and a beast his soul, we will be forever grateful."
Now it's your chance to "see the story as never seen before" and make the drama club "forever grateful!" Tickets are $5 each, available at the door, performance at Homestake Peak (Old Battle Mountain High), 750 Eagle Road, Eagle-Vail.
