Vail Daily field report: No new snow this morning

Line at Chair 8: Nothing much once the morning crowd dissipated

Weather: Partly cloudy, but still plenty of sun and no wind.

Breakdown: The first Monday of the year doesn't feel like a Monday; a fairly sizable crowd of 50 or so was gathered at Chair 8 before it started loading. The snow was riding hard and fast, with yesterday's light dusting mixing in well with the man made snow to make for some great conditions on Born Free. With shorter lines today, it's definitely worth getting out for a few turns.
