Resa speaks for me

(Editor's Note: The following letter was sent to members of the Eagle Town Board and forwarded to the Eagle Valley Enterprise for publication.)

I fully support a code of conduct and wish we had this in place during the ERS episode - i.e. the Trustee Turnipseed email and so many other Paradigm discussions.

I like and demand of my town government the transparency that Brandi Resa has thankfully given us with her blog and editorials. I read every blog and editorial and I do not get a negative tone from Brandi, just a tone that she would like to see things done properly and concise and legally for all to understand. I for one, like knowing where and how my tax dollars are being spent and to hear and know the important questions a trustee is asking. My personal feeling is that the town of Eagle employees and trustees don't like some of this information hitting the streets. Brandi is a voice that represents me and my concerns.

This is disturbing to me that Brandi is being attacked again personally, just because she brings to the forefront subjects no one wants to address and states things that are on many citizens' minds. Why is there such a backlash on her for speaking on behalf of citizens?
