On the Hill video ski report: Blue Sky opens at Vail

Brought to you by The Steadman Clinic.

Mid-day weather update: It's both sunny and snowing in Vail at 1:15 p.m.

Liftline status: Avoid 11 if you can, other than that-the lines aren't too bad this afternoon.

Breakdown: Blue Sky-Basin-was-opened-up and beat down today. Much of it was groomed, including Big Rock Park -- where you're directed off Chair 37 -- as well as Grand Review and-The Star off Pete's-Chair 39. There was-plenty of untracked stuff to be found off Hornsilver and Resolution, but it-didn't stay that way for long. If the idea was to get a base packed down-in Blue Sky-before this next storm, it was a success as snowriders did just that today.

Snowcast: Brace yourselves for Monday - usually when NOAA reports a 90 percent chance of snow, it dumps.

On the Hill is shot with a GoPro HERO3 Silver Edition.
