Proposals sought for Vail Golf Club donations

VAIL, Colorado - The Vail Recreation District will accept proposals until 5 p.m. Friday from Eagle County nonprofits seeking a course donation of the Vail Golf Club to host a fundraising tournament this year. The proposal guidelines are available at the Vail Golf Club, 1778 Vail Valley Drive, or by calling 970-479-2260, extension 3.

Each year the Vail Golf Club donates one tournament with green fees, cart fees, range balls and tournament set-up to qualified nonprofits who host a golf tournament as a fundraiser for their organization. This is the second year the Vail Rec District has requested applications from local groups to accommodate budgeting and scheduling needs. Course donations will be determined based on need, the organization's impact in the community and the proposed date.

Proposals are due no later than 5 p.m. Friday and should be submitted to: Vail Golf Club Donation Application, 700 S. Frontage Road East, Vail, CO 81657.

For more information, contact Vail Golf Club Director Alice Plain at 970-479-2260, extension 3, or email aplain@vailrec.com.
