Kudos to the Vail Library and its director for bringing great pleasure to me and about 55 other people on a very cold night.

We were treated to a wonderful performance by a versatile, talented and warm duo who sounded like a full group. Stephanie Bettman and Luke Halpin, from Denver, played the violin-fiddle, guitar and mandolin with such rhythm as to cause toe tapping and hand clapping from the smiling audience.

Miss Bettman's voice was as lovely as a young Joan Baez.
