Thank you, Aaron Schein. His comments regarding "Don't blame the grooming" are right on the money. This season's grooming cut off (no grooming from 8:30 a.m. on) is the problem. I, too, remember enjoyable skiing following the snow cats in the late morning. What happened? The rolling of the ski runs in the evening does nothing to promote great skiing the following day. I see the cats on the mountain in the early, 6 p.m., eve. They roll, it freezes, and lousy conditions are the result. Bring back the prior seasons' grooming.
