Update, 7:23 p.m.: Vail Pass has reopened.

VAIL - Eastbound Interstate 70 remains closed over Vail Pass as snow continues to fall across the region.

The pass closed at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Cars are being diverted off the interstate at the main Vail exit at mile marker 176.

The eastbound interstate is also closed at Silverthorne, mile marker 205.
