A former Drug Enforcement Administration chemist, known as "the Martha Stewart of Meth Labs," will talk about the dangers of drugs with local high school students.
Lynn Riemer is in Eagle County to present Adolescent and Community Training (ACT) on Drugs. She is scheduled to talk to students at Eagle Valley High School March 28 at 6 p.m.
Along with the dangers of drugs, Reimer will discuss how dealers are using color, flavor and marketing ploys to entice users.
Riemer was a forensic chemist with the Drug Enforcement Administration and spent seven years with Colorado's North Metro Drug Task Force, processing more than 200 meth labs and thousands of drug busts.
Students throughout Eagle County's have been attending presentations this week for ACT on Drugs.
ACT on Drugs, Inc., is a nonprofit organization formed to educate and train communities on addressing drug problems.
