This note is long overdue as I have been waiting for the right moment to say thank you. That exact moment has not grabbed me or my family yet, but we are still hopeful it will be at the same moment to celebrate.
Jan. 22, I was in Japan, while back here, home in the Vail Valley, a life-changing incident took place. I'm referring to my father.
How I found out about it, how it was handled and the support system surrounding the incident and the days since have made me more than realize I have an extended family here in this community.
The amazing efforts of Bryce and the Vail Ski Patrol should let us all know how privilege we are to have them watching over from different high points on Vail and Beaver Creek. I can't imagine what might have occurred any place else on the planet.
Thank for being there. Thank you for the winter and all have an amazing summer.
