EDWARDS — The upcoming Spring into Health and Wellness Expo will take place May 17 at Colorado Mountain College in Edwards. Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the expo will focus on personal wellness, lifestyle improvements, fitness, nutrition, stress management and conventional and complementary approaches to optimal health. The expo, featuring local vendors, is designed to educate participants on what our region has to offer in the areas of health and wellness and inspire people to pursue a healthy lifestyle.
The event is free to the public, and includes free community yoga led by Yoga off Broadway at 9 a.m.
At 10 a.m., a ticketed event begins with special guest speaker Dr. Edward Taub, who empowers people to think optimally about their health and to take simple steps to live a life in balance. Taub’s talk will be followed by a nutritious “mindfulness luncheon,” catered by CMC’s Brainiac Cafe. Tickets for the presentation and lunch can be purchased in advance for $35 at www.springintohealth.org.
