VAIL — Vail-based chef Kelly Liken, owner of Restaurant Kelly Liken, will appear on “The Talk” on CBS along with hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood for a summertime family backyard themed cooking segment airs live on Thursday at noon.
“I am looking forward to sharing the taste and flavors of one of my favorite summer meals that I enjoy in my own backyard with America and CBS ‘The Talk’ viewers,” Liken said.

Liken will demonstrate easy summer dishes that can be recreated at home, including items such as her all-time favorite grilled chicken wings with homemade buffalo sauce. Liken will share tips for the home cook, including suggestions for utilizing the whole wing, which she points out tend to be heartier and juicier.
Additionally, Liken will showcase a sweet corn summer salad emphasizing this quintessential summer dish that truly brings the flavors of Colorado and the summer season to the table. Finishing off the segment, Liken will demonstrate her cucumber lime elixir cocktail, which has become recognized as a signature favorite among patrons at the bar in her eponymous restaurant.
