Minturn Saloon to host 'Zombie Apocalypse' theme party Oct. 26

MINTURN —The Minturn Saloon will once again host one of the best Halloween parties of the year. The annual Halloween Party and Fundraiser for the Minturn Community Fund will be held on Oct. 26 beginning at 8 p.m. The Saloon will be rocking to the music of Min’urn Express as they reprise the amazing show from last year.

The costume theme is “Zombie Apocalypse” with prizes being awarded for the best costumes. A donation of $10 will be accepted at the door and the first 100 people will receive a free Coors Light as well.

“This is always a really great party and one of the most important fundraisers for the Minturn Community Fund,” said bar manager, Bruce Plummer. “Every year we see some amazing costumes.”

The Minturn Community Fund exists to connect people and to enrich and preserve Minturn’s authentic community. It’s helping Minturn to be a healthy, vibrant and authentic community that meets the challenge of change while preserving its rich history and small town character. The community fund, along with residents of Minturn, produces the summer Little Beach Thursday night concert series, organizes the Minturn Community Garden and many other programs.
