BEAVER CREEK — Grammy winner and seven time Grammy nominee Paula Cole returns to the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
With a 17-year career that includes six albums released and approximately three million sold, Paula Cole, who is best known for her hits “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait” continues to write, produce, record and perform heartfelt, meaningful, lasting music.
EMOTIONALLY DEEP SHOW
According to KZYR the Zephyr’s Thomas Dobrez, “She is a talented musician who has taken significant time off of her career to raise a family and recently returned to the studio after a successful Kickstarter campaign allowed her to self-produce the album released this past spring called ‘Raven.’ Her Vilar appearance on will no doubt be emotionally deep. She writes with a poet’s flair and delivers heart-felt performances during the rare times she takes to the stage. Her voice is gorgeous, poignant and full of resonance. In the Vilar setting, prepare for a remarkable show.”
Having performed with Counting Crows, Matchbox 20, Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Etheridge, Lilith Fair, Peter Gabriel, Emmy Lou Harris and many more, Cole’s emotionally deep and thrilling performances are a trademark.
