Samana Lounge in Vail hosts Ana Sia back to its stage Friday.

“Ana always puts on a great energetic performance, getting the crowd dancing to the beats that she plays,” said Samana promoter Ross Cohen.

Sia’s DJ crate is a ticker for the hottest sounds of both today and tomorrow. She is one of the West Coast’s most celebrated DJs. This San Francisco Bay area-based tastemaker is known for not only energizing the dance floor, but consistently breaking new sounds from all over the world. Having championed some of the most beloved music festivals in the U.S., Canada and abroad, Sia has gone from rocking house parties to stadiums by stylistically staying two steps ahead of the game. From huge festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and others, and an array of clubs and venues spanning every major city, countless college towns and hot spots everywhere, Sia has built a community just as fun, wild and eclectic as her style. She released her first full length contribution, a well-regarded compilation and DJ-mix titled “Surreal Estate” in 2011 on Frite Nite, her quickly-rising California-based label and crew.

Kayembe’s introduction

Tk Kayembe’s passion for music took recognizable shape when he began playing piano at the young age of 4. Growing up in a multicultural household in Saint Louis, Mo., he was introduced to a multitude of different musical genres and instruments and has since become proficient in just about every major instrument he can find. In early 2012, Kayembe was both signed to Paper Diamond’s label Elm & Oak and LA beat crew, Team Supreme, and shortly after he produced the hit single “Werkin’ Girls” for Angel Haze. His sound can be described as high-energy club music.
