Awaken in Nature retreat returns to Vail

EAGLE COUNTY — The Women’s Empowerment Workshop has announced last year’s sold-out Awaken in Nature fall seminar will return to Vail.
Awaken in Nature is a nature adventure retreat — five days where women use outdoor challenges and indoor sessions exploring inner wisdom with leading life coaches and wilderness guides, plus reflective time to reconnect to what is truly important in their lives.
The Sept. 11-15 retreat offers a diverse approach to connectivity through a simple investment of taking care of one’s self and exploring one’s journey, a rare commodity in today’s busy world.
The approach involves stepping into full potential through expert life coaching, personal attention, new life skills and a nurturing, safe circle of women, while enjoying what the spectacular mountain setting naturally offers.
Through activities such as rafting, rock climbing, healing through horses, hiking, yoga and more, women discover the lessons the natural world offers.
Going beyond the activity experience, experts in life guidance help create an atmosphere of self-discovery. To round out the retreat, meals created by Vail’s most well-loved restaurants and chefs, a four-night stay at the Vail Racquet Club, opportunities for spa aficionados and time to simply enjoy the resort are built into the Awaken in Nature program.
The cost for the retreat is $1,900 if you register by Aug. 1 ($2,200 if registering after that date).

At Women’s Empowerment Workshop retreats, nature is both the medium and the metaphor for addressing the core questions and challenges women face: balancing complex lives, facing obstacles and overcoming mental and emotional blocks.
The workshop organizers claim that through understanding the balance of nature, women tap into inner instincts and intuition and find the potential and energy to achieve more than they ever imagined.
