BEAVER CREEK — Two-time Grammy winner Kenny Loggins and Nashville singer-songwriters Georgia Middleman and Gary Burr bring their original songwriting and a set of new harmonies to Beaver Creek on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Loggins is known for hits including “Celebrate Me Home,” “Footloose,” “Angry Eyes” and “Danny’s Song” and providing soundtracks for major films such as “Top Gun.” Both as a duo with Jim Messina and as a solo artist, Loggins filled the ’70s and ’80s with tracks that still seem to resonate with the rock community.

After 30 years of being his own boss, Loggins sought a reinvention, for which he found in Gary Burr and, later, Georgia Middleman.

“The best part,” said Loggins of his initial meeting with Burr, “was that when we sang together, we sounded like brothers. The last time I experienced that kind of blend was with Jimmy Messina in 1971.”

The two linked with Middleman and have since been “following bliss” in Blue Sky Riders.

Billboard has named Burr “Songwriter of the Year.” His hits include Juice Newton’s “Love’s Been a Little Bit Hard on Me,” Conway Twitty’s “That’s My Job” and Wynonna’s “To Be Loved By You.” His songs have been covered by LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, George Jones, Garth Brooks, Ricky Skaggs, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ringo Starr, to name a few.

Middleman was still a teenager when she began opening for artists such as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. She wrote Keith Urban’s 2010 chart-topper “I’m In,” and her songs have been recorded by Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Mark Chesnutt and Joe Nichols.
