What: 2014 annual Vail Cruiser Crawl Bike Ride. All ages are welcome on this event.

When: 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday.

Where: Starting at Atwater on Gore Creek at Vail Cascade (3 to 4 p.m.) ,Vail Chophouse in Lionshead (4 to 5 p.m.) The Fitz Lounge at Manor Vail Lodge (5 to 6 p.m.)

Cost: Free. Prizes for best costume, best group costume.

VAIL — Mark your calendar and tune those bikes for the last Cruiser Crawl of the season set for Sunday. The Cruiser Crawl theme is “Superheroes and Villains.” The event starts at Atwater on Gore Creek (3 to 4 p.m.) followed by a stop at Vail Chophouse in Lionshead (4 to 5 p.m.) and ending at The Fitz Lounge at Manor Vail Lodge (5 to 6 p.m.).

Prizes will be given for best individual costume and best group costume.



CRAWL PASS

For this crawl, participants will receive a Crawl Pass they can use at each stop to purchase specially priced appetizers, beverages, $6 Herradura Tequila and $6 Finlandia Vodka signature drinks. Participants that stop at any one of the Cruiser Crawl locations will also receive one punch on the Crawl Pass per stop, for a total of up to three punches. Each punch can be redeemed for one raffle ticket at the final Cruiser Crawl stop (The Fitz Lounge) for a chance to win a Raleigh cruiser bike, valued at $600. You must attend all three stops to be eligible to win the bike.

This is a family-friendly event and all types of bikes are welcome on the crawl. For folks that do not have a bike, Venture Sports and Charter Sports are offering discounted rates on bike rentals.

“Responsible drinking is always in style” is the event tagline. As such, vouchers for cab rides will be provided for each location to send any questionable guests home. Special lodging rates are available at Manor Vail Lodge for $99 or at Vail Cascade for $129 per night.
