Grilled cheese and beer event set for Friday in Edwards

EDWARDS — Crazy Mountain Brewing Company will partner with Boar's Head to host a "Grilled Cheese and Craft Beer" pairing dinner at its Edwards tasting room on Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Boar's Head is the industry leader in fine deli meats and cheeses and created a menu of six grilled cheese sandwiches to pair with six Crazy Mountain beers.
The menu includes Asiago cheese on crusty white bread paired with Crazy Mountain Amber Ale; jalapeno havarti on pumpernickel bread paired with Horseshoes & Hand Grenades ESB; chipotle gouda on pull-apart bread paired with Hookiebobb IPA; ButterKase on sourdough bread paired with Cara de Luna Black Ale; cheddar/muenster/swiss blend on multi-grain bread paired with Old Soul Strong Belgian Golden Ale; and finally apple cinnamon chutney and American cheese on cinnamon raisin bread paired with Snowcat Coffee Stout.
Tickets are $25 for all-you-can eat-and-drink beer and grilled cheese sandwiches. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Crazy Mountain's tasting room or by calling 970-926-3009 and paying by credit card. Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out.
