Mount Everest climber to lead workshop in Eagle on Friday
January 14, 2014
EAGLE — What gets a person up the tallest mountain in the world, and how can you have that in your life every day? This is what Everest climber Ellen Miller will teach in the "Jumpstart Your Mind, Body, Spirit Connection" workshop, an interactive day-long event to re-energize, inspire and reconnect. The workshop will be offered by Women's Empowerment Workshop on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Eagle.
Join Miller, a renowned alpinist and personal trainer, and personal coach Susie Kincade for an inspiring, fun-filled day that offers an integrated approach to physical, mental and spiritual health. Miller will introduce participants to the methodology and value of heart-rate based training, a system which is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. With an emphasis on safety and fun, she will lead a supported outdoor exercise session. She also covers the basic science attached to outdoor exercise, neuroplasticity and the power of the positive thought process.
Kincade, founder of Women's Empowerment Workshop, will guide participants to envision their greatest potential for 2014 and beyond. She will offer tools to connect to our inner wisdom using nature as a supportive force in our life. Create a vision board and anchor it in deeply into your being for success in realizing your goals and opportunities.
As with all Women's Empowerment Workshop programs, a small, supportive circle of women establishes a safe and encouraging setting for personal growth and reconnection.
The workshop will be held both indoors and outside. Lunch and vision board supplies will be provided. Cost is $65. Learn more and register at http://www.womenempower.us or by calling 970-328-5472.
