Studio Anjali hosts spring yoga workshops
April 14, 2014
AVON — Studio Anjali at The Westin is welcoming spring with new yoga workshops: Blossom Into Your Heart on Sunday, April 27; and Triple D: Detox, De-Stress and Detangle for a Clean, Radiant You on Friday, May 2.
Blossom Into Your Heart is designed to deepen your understanding of how to open your heart through mindful alignment of the body, moving toward ultimate refinement of urdvadonruasana, or full wheel pose. This posture is one of the most effective poses for lifting the spirits and connecting to your inner joy. The class will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 27.
The Triple D: Detox, De-stress and Detangle for a Clean, Radiant You is a dynamic cleansing class to kick-start your spring. This uplifting sequence of postures has been designed to stimulate circulation, flush out toxins, increase joint mobility, lengthen and strengthen muscles, stimulate the digestive organs and purge toxic thoughts. The class will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2.
Studio Anjali yoga director Suzanne Oliver, who has been teaching in the Vail Valley for more than a decade, will teach both classes.
Registration is $45 per class for the public and $35 for Athletic Club at The Westin members. To reserve your spot, call 970-790-2051.
Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront offers scheduled yoga and meditation class times and styles daily. For more information, visit http://www.athleticclubwestin.com.
