‘Weekend of Healing’ event set for Saturday, Sunday in Edwards
November 4, 2013
Local author and counselor Catherine Zeeb will host the bi-annual Weekend of Healing gathering on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The weekend event will be held at 34500 Highway 6, unit B8, in Edwards (directly above the Log Cabin restaurant, in the same building as Wags & Whiskers).
"Each practitioner has been hand-picked by me for their healing abilities," Zeeb said. "I invite everyone to drop by and walk away with helpful and healing information."
Appointments are required for the following:
John of God crystal table ($35 for 25 minutes): John of God is a Brazilian healer who is guided to offer blessed crystals, which light up over each chakra and assist with healing. The crystal table will be on hand.
Animal communication ($45 for 30 minutes): Rebecca Blackbyrd is a talented communicator with the animal world. You can bring your pet or bring a picture.
Foot detox ($20 for 30 minutes): The toxins in your body can be removed through this foot bath using warm water with an array, which works with the positive and negative ions in the water.
Reflexology (approximately $1 per minute): Reflexology is an ancient practice where pressure is applied to different points on your body. A person can touch certain spots to treat you for coughs, respiratory illness, stomach issues including constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux and indigestion, headaches, inflammation and other injuries.
'No one will be turned away'
"This weekend gathering is an ever-evolving event. It is a wonderful opportunity to be around some incredible healers and practitioners in a peaceful and safe environment," Zeeb said. "All are welcome and no one will be turned away for lack of money for donation. Please contact me for more information or to discuss details on any of the practitioners."
