VAIL — Julie Hammerstein, a certified nutritionist and a leading health and weight loss expert, knows first-hand about harmful diets and health problems. After struggles with her own weight, she finally decided it wasn't about what shows up on the scale that matters, but how you choose to walk in the world.
During a transformational lecture at the Vail Vitality Center on Thursday at 6 p.m., Hammerstein will use her own experience with failed diets to introduce a winning formula that gets people to think differently about health, so they will act differently to build lifelong healthy habits. Her technique guides participants toward steps that can permanently reshape individual health, regardless of goals.
'small change, big impact'
"Tactics don't move people into action," said Hammerstein. "In order to make significant changes in your health, weight and vitality, you need to hear messages that speak to your heart. When the 'why' is in place, then the daily do-ables will follow. My 'Small Change, Big Impact' approach will give you the 'why's' and the 'how's' for lasting change."
During her 14 years in practice, Hammerstein has helped thousands of people take back their health by following a simple, step-by-step plan that gets results.
This special lecture is presented free of charge, but pre-registration is requested. For information and to register contact the Vail Vitality Center at 970-476-7960.
Hammerstein is a sought after coach and speaker, author of "Fat is Not a Four-Letter Word" and director of The Source for Weight Loss. She is also the expert nutritionist on "The Colorado Everyday Show."
