"Exploring Colorado Wineries — Guidebook & Journal" author Paula Mitchell will be at the Vail Public Library at 5:30 p.m. Wednesda. The library is located at Mitchell will give a presentation on wine fundamentals and traveling through Colorado's wine country. This presentation is designed to expand general knowledge and provides a brief overview of Colorado's wine regions. Included in the program is a review of the "Five S's" of how to taste wine, a description of tasting room exploration, using general vocabulary and proper etiquette, a review of the six regions through maps and a listing of all the wineries and what else to see and do in the region.
Today there are more than 125 wineries and tasting rooms throughout the state of Colorado, and "Exploring Colorado Wineries — Guidebook & Journal" can help the reader discover them all! Mitchell has combined her interest in and knowledge of wine along with her love of her home state, Colorado, into her book. The purpose of her book is to help others explore and discover Colorado's wineries, so they too can experience and savor Colorado's wineries. Everything you need to know about Colorado wineries can be found within this comprehensive guide.
