Vail Public Library hosts 'King Arthur'

VAIL — The Hampstead Stage Company will present “King Arthur” at the Vail Public Library at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Celebrating 30 years of bringing books to life, the Hampstead Stage Company’s two professional actors will portray multiple characters with quick costume changes and dialects.

Join King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table in this legendary story of the sword and the stone. In our quest, Merlin and Arthur battle their adversaries, Morgana Le Fay and her son, Mordred, for the rights to Camelot and the sword Excalibur. The legend comes to life in this historic tale of medieval adventure.

The mission of the Hampstead Stage Company is to educate audiences throughout the country by bringing classic literature to life through live theater. This sparks an interest in reading the classics, instills a love and appreciation of the arts, and preserves theater for future generations.

This program is free and recommended for all ages. Light refreshments will be served. The library is located at 292 West Meadow Drive in Vail. For more information, call 970-479-2187.
