Disc golf club hosting challenge in Eagle on Tuesday

EAGLE — The Flying Eagle Disc Society, in conjunction with Dynamic Discs, will host a “Two Disc Challenge” at the Eagle County Fairgrounds course on Tuesday.

For $20, players receive a Dynamic Discs putter (Judge or Warden) and their choice of another disc from the Dynamic Discs disc line. They then play the course, in its entirety, using only those two discs and record a score.

All Abilities Welcome

The event is open to players of all abilities and typically offers intermediate and advanced divisions, but occasionally more depending on participation. Prizes are awarded to the top three participants in each division, with the number of divisions based on participation.

This will be an all day, flex-start event, which should make it convenient for all players to fit it into their schedule. Sign up will run from noon to 6 p.m. and players can start their round whenever they like. There will be no advanced sign up required as it is day-of registration only.

Gear for Sale

The Dynamic Discs Chasin’ the Chains RV and brand representative Steven Storrie will be present with a wide array of Trilogy brand discs for sale (Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64 and Westside), as well as other gear.

Dynamic Discs team pro Paige Bjerkaas will also in attendance for the Two Disc Challenge as she makes her way across the country on the way to the PDGA Professional World Championships. Come meet one of the best disc golfers in Colorado and a rising star on the PDGA national tour.

The Dynamic Discs Two Disc Challenge is an excellent opportunity to have fun, win prizes and check out some disc brands that are hard to find in Eagle County.
