BEAVER CREEK — One of Broadway’s biggest spectacles comes to the Vilar Center Monday at 7:30 p.m.
“Mamma Mia!” is the story of a mother, her daughter and three possible fathers all coming together for an unforgettably eventful wedding. The Broadway musical combines lovable, quirky and distinct characters with ABBA’s adored pop soundtrack. It’s a show that perfectly scratches the dramatic itch in touching topics of love, marriage, parenthood and life lessons, while still remaining a comedy to the core.
“There is never a dull moment in this show,” said Kris Sabel, Vilar Performing Arts Center executive director. “From the music to the actors — you’ll find yourself immersed in the performances, whether this is your first time seeing “Mamma Mia!” or your 100th. It’s fun for everyone involved.”
