Elvis Costello comes to Beaver Creek for September concert

In its inaugural year, Beaver Creek’s Hike to the Mic music and arts festival will feature mountaintop performances on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Hike to the Mic festivities will take place Friday, Sept. 15, through Sunday, Sept. 17.
Grammy Award winner Elvis Costello, along with his band The Imposters, bring their new show to Beaver Creek.
The show takes songs from the 1982 album “Imperial Bedroom” as a starting point.
Colorado quintet Elephant Revival will open the show.

“Hike to the Mic’s mountaintop setting will certainly provide some of the most breathtaking venue views in my 40 years of performing,” Costello said.
About Hike to the Mic
The first year of Hike to the Mic is truly about the journey, as well as the destination. For the concerts on Saturday, Sept. 16, guests will explore the mountain as they make their way by 4×4, bike, foot or the Centennial gondola up to the concert on the Spruce Saddle lawn.
Breathtaking views and art
Along the way, guests will discover unique art pieces, photo opportunities along with fall colors. There will be food, drinks and music at 10,000 feet. The after-party takes place in Beaver Creek Village with more music, art and food.
