More About the Bands:

The Flobots: When a pair of intelligent, visionary emcees joins forces with a battle-hardened, groove-fusing rhythm section, and a classically trained violist the result is a sound that explores and expands the frontiers of live music. Progressive in both style and message, the band’s ability to drop from symphonic rock-infused crescendos into stripped-down string-laden breakbeats has earned Flobots a reputation for both originality and authenticity. Armed with musicianship, intelligence, and an ingrained sense of rebellion, Flobots are looking to engage a new musical culture, one mind at a time.

The Otone Brass Band: An eight-piece group comprised of seasoned pros, is held together by the heavy bass of the marching sousaphone. The horn section is comprised of bariphone and tenor saxophone, two trumpets, and trombone. The percussion section is a tight snare and bass-drum duo.

Robby Peoples and the Bank Walkers: Robby Peoples began playing harmonica and guitar on his back porch Oxford Mississippi when he was 19. Since relocating to Colorado he’s found an unfilled niche as a down south solo harmonica/guitar player. Compared to the likes of Tom Waits and with the energy and showmanship of Joe Cocker his performances are rare for this day and age.

Kerry Pastine & the Crime Scene Band: The sound is at once familiar, but modern; vintage, and cutting edge. Some of the best songs from Kerry’s past bands have been brought back to fill out the live set and have been given a new lease on life through the original spirit of the Crime Scene. Together their music offers the perfect vehicle for a life of crime and musical performances born of sin.

Mac McCain: Mac has been playing guitar, singing and writing songs for most of his forty-four years. Mac plays his memorable original songs as well as an extensive variety of popular cover tunes and is always happy to play requests. Mac has been professionally trained and also plays classical music to help create a perfect atmosphere for elegance.

Bonnie and the Clydes: Started in 2010, the band has been making waves on the Colorado and national music scene ever since. Spearheaded by Bonnie Sims, Bonnie & the Clydes features strong songwriting, dynamic three part harmonies, and rippin’ electric guitar solos, as well as Bonnie Sims’ powerful and unique vocal style.

Wash Park Funk Band: Wash Park is a hard-hitting, high energy dance band that is rocking the scene in Colorado. Whether it’s the old school dance classics or the hits from today, Wash Park is sure to light any event on fire!
