Chabad Jewish Center holds Purim celebration on Sunday

VAIL — The Jewish holiday of Purim will be celebrated with a Royal Purim Celebration, organized by the Vail Chabad Jewish Center, at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Chabad Jewish Center located in the Vail Run Resort.

The celebration will include a 5 p.m. reading of the “Megillah,” a scroll describing the story of Purim, with simultaneous kids’ activities, followed by a 5:30 p.m. royal Dinner party and ball, featuring a caricature artist, Hamentaschen and L’chaim, and entertainment for children and adults.

Costumes Are Encouraged

In the spirit of Purim, participants are encouraged to come in costume. All are welcome to join, regardless of Jewish affiliation or background.

A suggested donation of $10 is requested, and Purim Party Sponsorships are available for $180.
