The Class of 2014: A look at this year’s valley seniors

ALISON ALVAREZ

School: Eagle Valley High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: Spending time with friends.

Summer plans: Hopefully, I will be traveling in June. If not, then I’ll get a job, and go in nature adventures.

Where are you headed this fall: I will be attending to CMC for my first two years then I’ll transfer somewhere else.

If you’re staying, what are you happiest about keeping: I will explore beautiful places that I haven’t been to in Colorado.

In 10 years you’ll be: I will be done with college, working, traveling and helping others in need! I want to make a change in this world and I will start with small steps.

Favorite class you took: English because Mr. Knight is the best teacher at Eagle Valley High School! Thank you.

Anything else? Stay out of trouble! Enjoy high school and make smart choices.

CRYSTINA FLORES

School: Battle Mountain High School.

Summer plans: Take summer classes in CMC and hang out with my friends.

Where are you headed this fall: I am going to CMC.

If you’re staying, what are you happiest about keeping: Having some of my friends around and staying with my family.

In 10 years you’ll be: Hopefully a police officer.

Favorite class you took: AP Art.

CHRISTIAN BOHREN

School: Vail Christian High School

Favorite school moment from any year: State basketball tournament.

Summer plans: Ice dancing, monster truck rallies and parkour.

Where are you headed this fall: Texas A&M University.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Home-cooked meals are not on the dining plan at College Station.

In 10 years you’ll be: 28! And president of the United States.

Favorite class you took: AP U.S. History with Patrick Beaudine.

Class you wish had been offered: Astronomy.

Anything else? A big thank you to my family and the Lord Jesus Christ for being my rock throughout my soon-to-be 19 years on this planet!

CHEYENNE RICHARDSON

School: Eagle Valley High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: Volunteer Day!

Summer plans: Working for Vail Resorts and interning at the Vail Valley Foundation.

Where are you headed this fall: Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Being able to go skiing whenever I want.

In 10 years you’ll be: Happily living in a beautiful place.

Favorite class you took: DE Chemistry.

Class you wish had been offered: Yoga.

DELANEY PATTERSON

School: Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy.

Summer plans: Spending the summer in the valley and some time in Powell.

Where are you headed this fall: Colorado State University. Go, Rams!

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I will miss the close proximity to Vail and Beaver Creek.

In 10 years you’ll be: A physical therapist.

Favorite class you took: All English classes with Mr. Kimmel.

Class you wish had been offered: Photography.
