Watch Darius Rucker Rock the Research — Take in the stomping sounds of Darius Rucker after the release of his new album, “True Believers.” The show is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater in Vail, tickets are $25/$75 and proceeds go towards orthopedic research within the Steadman Clinic, to help them continue in making steps towards health and medical science that is so pivotal to the Vail Valley, and all athletes and adrenaline junkies.
2. Enjoy a free Bravo! Vail concert — The 2014 Bravo! Vail Season offers several free, hour-long chamber music concerts at locations throughout the Valley from Vail to Gyspum. On Monday, July 14, Third Coast Percussion will perform “Rhythms and Resonances,” as part of their ongoing effort to connect young composers with professional performers in a meaningful collaborative experience. Since its formation in 2005, Third Coast Percussion has gained national attention with concerts and recordings that meld the energy of rock music with the precision and nuance of classical chamber works.
