SOS Colorado-Eagle River Ride rolls out on Saturday

EAGLE COUNTY — The SOS Outreach Colorado-Eagle River Ride is set for Saturday, benefiting the youth development nonprofit SOS Outreach. The ride loops from Beaver Creek Mountain Resort out along the scenic banks of the Colorado and Eagle rivers, including the hard-packed dirt portion of the Colorado River Road. There are multiple routes to suit each rider’s ability with 100-mile, 68-mile and 42-mile options. This unique ride not only provides riders an opportunity to ride a course that can be difficult without full support and gear teams, but all proceeds go to SOS Outreach.

Enjoy A Scenic Ride

The SOS Outreach Colorado-Eagle River Ride is known for being one of the most well-supported rides in Colorado, with four full-service aid stations that include bike repair and additional three mini aid stations, SAG vehicles, bus service back to the start/finish for the 68 mile route and an after party. In addition to all the support along the way, Colorado-Eagle River Ride cyclists enjoy a scenic ride along the both the Eagle and Colorado rivers.

Celebrate At the Finish Line

There will be some slight changes to the event. For the first time ever, the Colorado-Eagle River Ride will wrap up with a festival finish at the Beaver Creek Landing. The party will be at the finish line, which will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The after-party will include great food from the Dusty Boot Steakhouse & Saloon, cold drinks from Bonfire and Crazy Mountain breweries, live music from The Williams Brothers and vendors. Riders will receive free lunch and a celebratory drink. The celebration is open to the public, so even non-riders are invited to be a part of the community and join their friends and family to cheer on the riders and enjoy a great afternoon. The Williams Brothers Band will be playing live starting at 1 p.m.
